Fayette McCormack

Fayette Margaret McCormack, 81, of rural Battle Lake, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Lake Region Healthcare, Fergus Falls. She was born August 29, 1929, to Clarence and Margaret (Hebron) Meyer. She grew up in Fergus Falls and Spruce Lodge. In 1953, she married Charles McCormack and to this union, six children were born. Fayette enjoyed spending time with her family, picnicking, fishing and the companionship of her animals. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles; a sister, Berdeen Duske; a son-in-law, Marvin Bolstad and a grandson, Darren Mickelson. Survivors include her children, Patrick (Florence) McCormack of Battle Lake, Kathleen (Darrell) Mickelson of Tillamook, OR, Mary Bolstad of Dalton, David McCormack of Battle Lake, Sandra (Paul) Hovland of Dalton and Matthew McCormack of Proctor; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one nephew and two great nephews.  Visitation 12-2 pm Thursday at the funeral home and 5-7 pm with a prayer service at 6:30 pm at the church.
