Faye Lavon Meyer

Faye Lavon Meyer, 88, of Fergus Falls, died Monday, October 29, 2018, at PioneerCare, Fergus Falls.

Faye was born to Nick and Agnes (Halvorson) Wick on March 23, 1930, in Fergus Falls.

Faye married Lyle Meyer on September 17, 1958. They made their home at Star Lake for many years. Lyle died in November 1997; she moved to Fergus Falls in 2000. In her younger years she was employed at the State Hospital and she did book-keeping for Meyer Logging. Faye was a homemaker, an excellent crafter and during her later years she sold her beautiful creations.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle Meyer; brother, Morris Wick; sister, Sally Vigen; daughter-in-law Bette Meyer.

Survivors include her two sons, Victor (Marlys) Johnson of Fergus Falls, and Gordon (Lynnette) Meyer of Fergus Falls; grandchildren, Kelly (Arthur) Bickford of Cologne, and Kristi (Tom) Rufer of Fergus Falls; step-grandchildren, Trudy (Greg) Goodspeed, Breta Danielson, Jay Thompson;
great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Katelynn Bickford of Cologne; Sophia, Sullivan and Sean Rufer of Fergus Falls; step great-grandchildren, Torie, Macie, Jessica, Ethan, Luke, Joshua, and Kristen; niece Linda Koshler (Dave), nephews Brad (Jan) Vigen, Brian Vigen, Randy (Theresa) Vigen.

Visitation: One hour prior to the Service at the Olson Funeral Home
Service: 11:00 AM Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls
Clergy: Chaplain David Strom
Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dent, MN
