Frank "Tom" Thomas Sha, 88, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, May 06, 2007, at the Pioneer Retirement Community in Fergus Falls. He was born March 29, 1919, in Orwell Township, the son of Frank and Kathryn Matilda (Westerberg) Sha. He attended District 261 in Orwell Township, graduating from the 8th grade. On May 19, 1951, he married Mary Teberg Peterson. Following their marriage they lived in Fergus Falls. Tom worked for several farmers in Orwell and for the National Tea packing plant and Metz Bakery until he retired. After retirement he worked at Pepsi part time and for Tysver Landscaping. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. One of his favorite pastimes was playing pool with his Dad and their friends. He loved to fish, dance, and enjoyed working on his farm and with his animals. He was also a member of the Eagles Club. Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Katherine Sha; his mother and father-in-law, William and Hattie Teberg; brothers-in-law: Al Bjerga, Larry Mummie, Frank Jasmer, Walter Neulieb, Bill, Hank, and Louie Teberg; sisters-in-law: Minnie Neulieb, Gert Jaenisch and Doris Teberg, and many nieces and nephews. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary; four children: Arthur (Arlene) Peterson of Enderlin, ND, Donna (Tom) Miller of Fergus Falls, Margaret (Floyd Kearnes) Bjorgum of Underwood, and Jeanette (Bruce) Priebnow of Fergus Falls; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Lou Bjerga of Brainerd, and JoAnn (Clem) Miller of Fergus Falls; and one brother, James (Shirley) Sha of Fergus Falls. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Service: 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. Clergy: Reverend Marv Abrahamson. Interment: Knollwood Memorial Gardens in Fergus Falls.
