Elsie Crawford, 101, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Pioneer Retirement Community in Fergus Falls. Elsie was born on October 25, 1908 in Oriska, North Dakota, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Rostock) Lange. She grew up in North Dakota and eventually married Roy Crawford. She lived many places during her life, as she followed her husband and his military career. She has been a resident at the Pioneer Home in Fergus Falls for the past four years. Elsie was a homemaker and spent many years as a photographers assistant. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, and her daughter, Eileen (Donnan) Van Deinse. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Ruth Lange of Fergus Falls; nephew, Ric (Karla) Lange of Elk River and niece, Barb (Bob) Goldenstein of Dalton; and great-nieces, Gara Goldenstein of Rush City, and Beth Lange of Woodburg. Memorial Service: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Pioneer Retirement Center Chapel, Fergus Falls.
