Edna Winterfeldt, 90, a resident of Fergus Falls, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls. Edna Anna Louisa Albrecht was born at her childhood home near Brownton, Minnesota, on October 24, 1920, the daughter of John and Helen (Helle) Albrecht. She helped on her family farm until she married the love of her life, Roland Winterfeldt on August 26, 1945, upon his return from the service in the South Pacific. The young couple moved frequently in the first several years of their marriage, before settling in Fergus Falls, Minnesota in 1957. Roland passed away in 1995. Edna had an active faith and served at both Faith Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran Churches in Fergus Falls in a variety of ways. Her priorities of God, family and friends never changed.
