Earl Hendrickson, 95, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at Midwest Home Health. He was born June 15, 1913, in Fergus Falls, the son of Sigvart and Raghnild (Danielson) Hendrickson. He grew up on a farm north of Fergus Falls, attending school District 80. Earl worked for area farmers, was employed by Ag-Wa- Ching, A. T. B. Sanitarium, rural Walker, for numerous years and also worked for the Railroad. On August 27, 1949, he married Evelyn Thompson at Sebeka. They lived on a farm there until 1991, following her death, he moved to Fergus Falls to be near his daughter. In February of 2006, he made his home at Midwest Home Health, Fergus Falls, where he received wonderful care. He loved music and dancing, and was the drummer for the Fergus Falls Senior Citizen’s Kitchen Band. He belonged to the Fergus Falls senior Citizens Center and was associated with Our Saviors Church, Sebeka. Preceding him in death were his wife, who died in 1991; his parents and numerous siblings. Survivors include his daughter, Marilee (Dean) Wohlenhaus of Fergus Falls and two grandsons, Michael and Steven Wohlenhaus. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008, at Olson Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Lyle Hoxtell officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery, Sebeka. Olson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
