Douglas H. Kramer, 71, a resident of Henning and owner of Kramer Development died Friday, February 14, 2014 at his home in Henning, MN.
Doug was born on July 4, 1942, in New Ulm, MN, the son of Robert and Erma (Jutz) Kramer. He grew up in New Ulm and graduated from New Ulm High School. After graduation he attended Mankato State University and graduated with a degree in Business.
In 1966 he married Susan Arndt and the couple had 2 children. Over the years, Doug worked various jobs. In 1986, Doug opened, Kramer Development, a real estate and land development firm, in which he currently owned and operated.
Doug enjoyed golf, bowling, water skiing, trapping, hunting and vacationing in Hawaii with his family. His true passion in life was fishing, an activity that brought him many hours of enjoyment.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and John Kramer.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa (Rance) Brendefur of Henning; son, Douglas W. (Amy) Kramer of Henning; four grandchildren, Gabrielle and Gavin Brendefur and Savannah and Marissa Kramer; sisters, Gerry Braucks of Bloomington, Emy (Bud) Potter of Prior Lake, Shirley Kramer of Battleground, WA and sister-in-law, Georgina Kramer of Amboy, WA.
Per Doug’s wishes no services will be held at this time.
