Dorothy M. Lee

Dorothy Mae (Staff) Lee, 84, of Fergus Falls, died peacefully Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 10, 1930 to Martin and Clara (Nordlee) Staff in Fergus Falls. She was baptized and confirmed in a Lutheran church.

On September 28, 1948, she was united in marriage to Marvin Lee at Ebenezer Evangelical Church. They later joined Church of Peace United Methodist. They had three sons, Timothy, Todd and Mark.

Dorothy enjoyed Sunday night suppers, treating her grandkids and great-grandkids to donuts, cookies and popsicles. She also enjoyed Conor and Tina’s musical talents. Dorothy’s family meant the world to her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Marvin, in 2005; siblings, Russell, Will, Stanley “Stub”, Margaret.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Timothy (Theresa) Lee, Todd Lee and Mark (Linda) Lee, all of Fergus Falls; seven grandchildren, Jason (Becky) Lee, Jeremy (Kila) Lee, Chase (Ashley) Lee, Adina (Tanner) Klemetson, Kole Lee, Conor Lee, Christina Lee; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Delores (Floyd) Lee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to all the nurses, doctors and staff at Lake Region Healthcare, New Dimensions, Coram Healthcare and Vicki Lee, who all gave Dorothy such wonderful care.
