Dorothy Harrang Henry

Dorothy Harrang Henry, 91, a resident of Spring, TX, formerly of Underwood, MN, died September 14, 2015 at her residence.

Dorothy was born November 7, 1923 in Underwood Minnesota, twin daughter of Monrad and Mary (Moe) Harrang. She was an honor graduate of Fergus Falls High School and attended Minnesota Business College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was employed as an Executive Secretary and retired from Marriott Corporation.

She married Milo Henry on April 29, 1950. Dorothy was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas and an associate member of Tingvold Lutheran Church in Underwood, Minnesota, the church she grew up in and was married in.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her twin sister, Doris Johnston, and a grandson, Cleland Henry Hughes.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Vivian Henry of Houston, Texas and daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Tyler and Mary Hughes of McPherson, Kansas; two granddaughters, Dr. Amanda Kaye Henry and Dorothy Jane Hughes and two grandsons, Tyler Hughes, Jr. and Jason Eccles; and her brother and wife Philip and Anita Harrang of Alexandria, Minnesota; and nephews and nieces.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
Service: 1 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Tingvold Lutheran Church, rural Underwood.
