Doris Teberg

Doris Carolyn (Watterud) Teberg, 77, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.

Doris was born March 9, 1944, to Oliver and Mabel (Honrud) Watterud in Pelican Rapids, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Hamar Lutheran Church, now New Life Lutheran Church in Rothsay. She attended one-room rural school District #73 until fourth grade and then she and her siblings went to Rothsay High School where she graduated.

On May 30, 1964, she married her sweetheart, Robert Teberg at Hamar Lutheran Church in rural Rothsay. To this union two children were born, Darin Lee and Lisa Jo. They resided in Fergus Falls and after a couple of years purchased their home on Everett Avenue where she lived until 2013. She worked at NF Field Abstract, as an abstracter, until retirement.

She was a member of Fergus Falls Morning Quilters, Homemakers, Christian Women, First Lutheran Church Circle, Quilts of Valor, and Quilting Bee Group. Her passion was her family and quilting.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert Teberg; parents, Oliver and Mabel Watterud; parents-in-law, William and Olga Teberg; daughter-in-law, Dawn Teberg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard (Sharon) Teberg and David (Loretta) Teberg; niece, Tracy Teberg, and nephew, Jason Teberg.

Doris is survived by her children, Darin (Michelle) Teberg of Erhard and Lisa Jo (Brian) Hage of Moorhead; grandchildren, Dustin (Amanda) Teberg, Derek (Shawna) Teberg, Debbie (Brody) Borstad, Lily Teberg, Brianna Hage, Ashley Hage, and Jordan Hage; step-grandchildren, Jeremie (Ashley) Seedorf, Jonathan (Rachael) Seedorf, Jamie (Kailey) Seedorf, and Jenni (Ben) Manigold; step-great-grandchildren, Ashtin, Sydnie, Bentley, and Leightin Seedorf, Alleigh Seedorf, and Brylin and Elsie Seedorf; brothers and sisters, Merlin (Barb) Watterud, Audrey (Roger) Neulieb, Charles (Ellen) Watterud, and Donna (Pete) Piekarski; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lavonne (Don) Rudd and Larry (Roz) Teberg, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives as well as many friends and relatives in Norway.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls.

Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls

Interment: First Lutheran North Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN
