Donna Boll

Donna M. Boll, 74, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, of Ottertail, MN, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 29, 1933, in Foxhome, MN, the daughter of Catherine (Hennenfert) and Bill O'Keefe. She married Dennis Boll April 11, 1953, in Fergus Falls, MN. They lived in Moorhead, Fergus Falls, and finally made their home on Ottertail Lake in rural Minnesota in 1977, where they both loved to entertain and enjoy the sunsets on the lake. Donna and her husband Dennis opened their successful real estate business (Boll Realty) in 1979. Donna was a gracious and generous supporter in the Ottertail community. Preceding her in death were her husband, Dennis Boll; a grandson, Andrew Boll; and her sister, Shirley Scheiterlien. Survivors include her four children: Vicki (Dick) Marthaler of Clarkfield, MN, Cathy (Dan) Mueller, Scott (DeeAnn) Boll, and Jeff (Kathy) Boll, all of Ottertail; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Irene Hanson, of Elcahon, CA, and Cathy (Jerry) Rydell of Wahpeton, ND; and two brothers: Pat (Eva) O'Keefe, of Santa Ana, CA, and Mike (Shirley) O'Keefe, of Morris MN.
