Donald William Jepperson, 86, a resident of Fergus Falls, formerly of Worthington, MN died Sunday, December 25, 2016, at the MN Veterans Home, Fergus Falls.
Don was born in Eau Claire, WI on May 23, 1930 to Raymond V. and Mildred R. (Foisy) Jepperson. His family moved to St. Cloud, MN in 1933, to Willmar, MN in 1936 and finally to Worthington, MN in 1941, where Don graduated from High School in 1948. He received THE Associates of Arts and Associate of Science degrees from Worthington College in 1950. An outstanding center in football, Don was member of Worthington High School’s championship teams of 1946, 1947 and 1948 and continued playing as a starting center for the Worthington College Blue Jays. On Nov.24,1951 he married Norma Lois Bucher of Worthington at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Worthington.
