Dubby enjoyed his friends and family, hobbies in his shop, hunting, fishing, and had a fond interest in aviation.  He is survived by his mother, Carol Hoivik, of Fergus Falls; two brothers, Dan (Karen) Dean of Georgetown, and Kim (Cindy) Dean of Fergus Falls; two sisters, Jane (Larry) Runningen of Grand Maris, and Jan Dean of Anoka; and several nieces and nephews.  Preceding him in death were his father, Robert Dean; his stepfather, Duke Hoivik, a niece, Amy Dean, and many special aunts and uncles. Don will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Goodbye to one of the good guys. So long Andy! A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 25,2009, at 11:00 a.m. at The Federated Church in Fergus Falls with Reverend Doug Dent officiating. Burial will be in the Knollwood Memorial Gardens south of Fergus Falls.
