Dennis Leroy Fronning, 80, a resident of Fergus Falls, died at his home on Friday, July 21, 2023,

He was born May 25, 1943, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Vernon Leroy Fronning and Clara Christine (Hoff) Fronning. Dennis attended Country Grade School District 31, Washington Jr High, and Rosevelt Sr High all in Fergus Falls, MN.

On April 24, 1965, he was united in marriage to Mary (Alcorn) Fronning in Detroit, MI.

Dennis enjoyed FOX News, music, spending time on the computer and tending to his animals.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Mary; parents, Vernon and Clara Fronning of Fergus Falls, MN; and his sister, Beverly Curtis of Amery, WI.

Surviving him are his children, Bryan Fronning of Hopkinsville, KY, April Fronning of Lawrenceburg, TN, Gena Fronning and son-in-law, James Ritter of Otter Lake, MI; his grandchildren, Gaven Fronning of Otter Lake, MI, Jesse Ritter of Holland, MI, Brody Fronning of Otter Lake, MI, Angel Fronning of Otter Lake, MI, Aleysha Fronning of Shelby Township, MI, Alizabeth Fronning of Roseville, MI and Alivia Fronning, of Roseville, MI; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
