Denise Ann Knutson

Denise Ann Knutson, 52, a resident rural Dalton, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at her home.

On October 5, 1964, Denise was born to Christ and Frances (Boese) Pedersen in Fergus Falls. She grew up and attended school in Fergus Falls.

Denise and her mother cleaned homes in Fergus Falls and later she had her own cleaning business. In most recent years she downsized her cleaning business to spend time with her family.

On June 18, 2003, she married Dean Knutson in Wahpeton, North Dakota.

Denise was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, shopping and keeping a tidy house. She loved her family and being “Grandma Niece” to her grandchildren. Denise also enjoyed her pets Sadie Rose and Tillie.

Preceding her in death were her parents Christ and Frances, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Denise is survived by her husband, Dean of rural Dalton; her children, Shane (Kirsten) Kragness, Jessica Knutson, Alicia Lanoue all of Fergus Falls, and Joyce Pieschke (Mike Cathey) of Ashby; her grandchildren Malayna, Marissa and Bentley Kragness, Michael and Mikalah Lanoue, Aunnaka and Trace Pieschke and HannaLou and Joshua Cathey; her sister Diane (Jerry) Mindermann of Frazee and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation: 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, at the funeral home with a public prayer service at 6:30 p.m. and visitation continues one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Olson Funeral Home Chapel
