Dean L. Olson, 78, of Underwood, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his residence.
Dean Leroy was born August 22, 1943, to Ragnar and Alice (Selander) Olson in Fergus Falls. He graduated from Underwood High School in 1961. He worked as a service station attendant, a truck driver, and was a commercial carpenter.
He enjoyed watching the Minnesota Viking and Minnesota Twins. He spent time doing some hunting and fishing.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ragnar and Alice; son, Nicholas Dean Olson, and brothers-in-law, Dale Stine and Buddy Coughran.
Dean is survived by his children, Kristina (Mark) Jorgenson of Fergus Falls and Rebecca (Merlin) Koskela of Maple Grove; grandchildren, Shelby (Nick) Orf and Joey Jorgenson; sisters, Donna Stine of Brooklyn Park, Anita Coughran of Bakersfield, CA, and Maureen (Donald) Jacobson of Underwood, and several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held in the Summer of 2022.
