Dean Moore

Dean Moore, 74, of Fergus Falls died Monday, October 1, 2018 at Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls.

Dean Richard Moore was born in Fergus Falls, MN to Harry and Helen (Schnoor) Moore, on July 9th, 1944. Dean attended Fergus Falls High School before he started working with his father on the family farm. He was married to Sandra Herness on January 9th, 1966 in Dalton, MN at Bethel Lutheran Church.

Dean was employed at the Coke plant for 24 years before moving on to work at a local Dairy for a short while until it closed, then finally settling to work at Northern Contours. Dean was a member of the Fergus Falls Dart League and the Fergus Falls Elk Lodge. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, coin collecting, gardening, visiting with friends and family, spending time with his grandchildren, and his little dog C.C.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry; twin brother, David; in-laws, George & Maxine Herness; grandson, Branden Gullickson.

Dean is survived by his mother, Helen of Fergus Falls; wife Sandra; children, Trevor and his wife Korene (Bauman) Moore of Rothsay and Karri and her husband Corey Gullickson of Fergus Falls, and his grandchildren, Jessica, Brenna, Karah, Jonah Gullickson, and Alise Moore.

Dean was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who’s smile and warmth touched the lives of many and he will be greatly missed.

Visitation: 5:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls and one hour prior to the service.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls
Interment: Private family burial will be held at a later date
