David Dale “Donkey” Priebnow, 41, died Saturday, July 7, 2018 at his parent’s home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
He was born on October 13, 1976 in Fergus Falls, the son of Bruce and Jeanette (Peterson) Priebnow. David grew up in Fergus Falls and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1995.
David spent four years as a fishing tour guide before moving on to a career in construction and welding.
David loved the outdoors and lived for fishing and hunting. He filled our lives with humor, joy, and kindness, and was always lifting our spirits with his wit. David was caring, generous and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He enjoyed spending time with kids, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Harvey and Florence Priebnow, Tom and Mary Sha; his son, Alex’s mother, Marlana; uncle, Brian Priebnow; as well as many great-aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his son, Alex; parents, Bruce and Jeanette Priebnow of Fergus Falls; siblings, James (Sherry) Priebnow of Coon Rapids, MN, Adam (Ashley) Priebnow of Moorhead, MN, Julie (Chris) Scott of Fergus Falls; nieces and nephews, Devon, Austin, Lilly, Brooklynn, Ariel, Chase, Pierson, Aspen; as well as speical friend, Jodi Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church
Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at The Naz in Fergus Falls, MN
