Darlene King

Darlene Shogren King, age 78, of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, died Sunday, October 30, 2011, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls after a brief illness. She was the widow of Bill King, deceased in 1996, and the Mother of Robert, New York, and Randy, Fergus Falls, MN. Also survived by sisters and brothers, Jeanne (Jack) Slasor, Maine; Sister-in-law Pat Shogren, Minneapolis, MN; Carol Roth, Minneapoilis, MN; David Shogren (Sonja), North Carolina; and Harold Shogren (Lee), Plano, TX, and many extended family including cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Maine Presbyterian Church, rural Underwood, with Reverend Glenn Lord officiating. The Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Maine Presbyterian Church, Underwood, MN.
