Daniel Rodney Anderson, 63, a resident of Duluth, died peacefully Monday, March 27, 2017 at his residence in Duluth.
Daniel was born on February 13, 1954 in Fergus Falls, the son of Darrell and Bonita (Leine) Anderson. He grew up and attended school in Fergus Falls. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran church in Fergus Falls.
In August 1978, he married Candace Jorgenson and together they had 3 children, Natausha, Nicholas and Alicia.
He had a talent for woodworking and through the years designed many pieces for family members. He travelled to area flea markets, where he enjoyed selling his designs as well as visiting and meeting new people.
He also enjoyed country western music, fishing and cooking
Preceding him in death was his father, Darrell and brother-in-law, Steve Jorgenson.
Survivors include his mother, Bonita Anderson (Elof "Sonny" Norgren) of Fergus Falls; children, Natausha (Dan) Christensen of Battle Lake, Nicholas (Lindsay Torgerson) Anderson of Fargo, ND, Alicia (Jason Ebert) Anderson of Fergus Falls; grandchildren, Riley, Kyler, Reece, Rhody, Jack, Ellie, Hannah, Lily, Brooklyn and Dax; sisters; Debra Jorgenson, Sandy (Troy) Hassell, Sheri (Mark Aschnewitz) Wilke, Shelly (Jon) Schreiber and Darcy Anderson. Also surviving is his step-mother, Jane Anderson, numerous nieces and nephews, along with Branden Karie and the rest of the staff of TBI.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial Service: 4 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Messiah Lutheran Church, rural Underwood, MN
