Dana Miller

Dana Lynn Miller, 62, a resident of Minneapolis, died Monday, February 15, 2010, at his home under the care of Hospice. He was born February 18, 1947, in Fergus Falls, the son of Arlow and Mildred (Rau) Miller. He grew up there, and was baptized and confirmed at Grace United Methodist Church.   He graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1965, and then studied Electronics at North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton.  He worked for a time at Robert Pauls in St. Paul. Dana returned to college, graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1993 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was then employed by Keystone Retaining Wall Systems in Minneapolis, retiring recently due to his health. Dana loved to collect cars and antiques. Over the years he was trained in the Martial Arts. He was a kind and giving man, and he loved animals. Preceding him in death was his father, Arlow in January of 2009. Survivors include his mother, Mildred Miller of Fergus Falls, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and other family members. A private family service will be held at a later date. Olson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
