Cynthia Karen Rybak, 77, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at her home under the care of LB Hospice.
She was born on June 30, 1941, to James and Minerva (Hanson) Wunderlich in St. Cloud, MN. Cynthia graduated from Bemidji High School in 1959, and then went on to attend Minnesota State University - Moorhead, obtaining a B.S. in Accounting.
On January 6, 1962, Cynthia married Lawrence Rybak in Wadena, MN. Cynthia was employed by the Control Data Institute and the Job Corps Center. For several years she volunteered at the Lake Region Cancer Center in Fergus Falls.
Preceding her in death were her parents, James and Minerva Wunderlich; her daughter, Kathleen Rybak-Foss; and her sister, Kathleen Vivace.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Lawrence Rybak of Fergus Falls; daughters, Elizabeth Minette Rybak, Amy (Roy) Rybak Christensen; a sister, Mary (Bob) Peterson; eight grandchildren, Kendra Peterson, Megan (Chris) Oswald Schwerr, Alexander Oswald, Donald (Katie) Foss, Kaylah (Travis) Foss, Mason (Amber) Foss, Paige Christensen, Spencer Christensen; four great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the Lake Region Cancer Center
Visitation: 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home
Service: 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018, at the Olson Funeral Home Chapel in Fergus Falls, MN
