Cynthia Eull

September 20, 1954 — December 10, 2024

Cindy (70) was born on September 20, 1954 in El Paso, TX to Dale and Betty (Norman) Anderson. She grew up on a dairy farm, being the eldest of six children. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church in Hoffman. Cindy graduated from Hoffman High School in 1972 as valedictorian. Following graduation, she attended the University of Minnesota Morris majoring in Sociology, graduating in 1976.

Cindy married Gary Eull in Hoffman in May, 1976 (div. 1991). From this union, three sons were born; Matthew, Michael, and Andrew. Cindy provided daycare while raising her three boys. She later worked as a Social Worker for Ottertail County Social Services, retiring after 28 years of loyal service.

Cindy loved genealogy, tracing family history and documenting her findings. Other passions include antiques, reading, and gardening. Cindy loved music. Her favorite was Garth Brooks and attended several of his concerts, the highlight being taking her boys to one of his shows in Las Vegas.

Cindy was most proud of raising her three sons into wonderful young men. She adamantly followed all of their activities of sports, church softball, and band. For many years she was very active with church activities and youth groups. Cindy was full of joy when spending time with her six grandchildren, with another baby boy due in January.

Cindy realized her dream of retiring at her lake home, where she enjoyed the sunsets every evening, and often talked about the swans and loons singing. She enjoyed being outdoors by the water, socializing in the evenings, reading, and scrapbooking.

On Tuesday, December 10, 2024 Cindy passed away at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls.

Cindy is survived by her sons Matthew (Rachel) of Missoula Montana, Michael (Jenny) of Minneapolis and Andrew (Jamie) of Minnetrista; grandchildren Berkeley, Bode, Sawyer, Emmy, Elody and Theodore with a baby boy due to Andrew and Jamie in January; her mother, Betty Anderson of Hoffman, siblings Paul (Carol) Anderson of Hoffman, Jean (Darrell) Connell of Alexandria, Carolyn (Kevin) Seifermann of Foley, Jaclyn (Todd) Walter of Pine Island, sister-in-law Jacki Anderson of Glenwood, and many nieces, nephews, friends and family. Preceded in death by her father Dale Anderson, brother Pat Anderson and nephew Ben Anderson.
