Constance "Connie" Harthun

Constance Harthun, 80, of Fergus Falls died December 5, 2018, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.

Constance Helen Teisberg was born March 25, 1938, to Henry and Eva (Bjergo) at Wright Memorial Hospital in Fergus Falls. She was baptized at Aurdal Lutheran Church and confirmed at Vang Lutheran Church. Connie attended country school #247 in Aurdal Township and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1956

On July 14, 1956, Connie married Robert Harthun in Fergus Falls. To this union, four children were born, Susan, Sara, Steven and Stacy.

Connie was active in her community and held several offices at Aurdal Church, was a 4-H adult leader and served on the Stavanger Church board. Along with working alongside Bob on the farm, Connie worked at Woolworths, Pat Hanley Sales and Mill Street Residence, retiring in 2008.

Bob and Connie enjoyed traveling. The highlight of their travel was seeing Norway and traveling to Alaska for their 50th wedding anniversary. Their travels also took them to Florida, Montana and Washington State along with shorter family trips to northern Minnesota and Wisconsin Dells.

Connie laughed easily and enjoyed time spent with her family, friends at Goldenwood, homemakers group and Stavanger Church. She loved flowers and all things pink and purple.

Connie was preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert; son, Steven in 1986; granddaughter, Maggie Rose Christian in 1995; brother, John Brandt; step-mother, Nona Teisberg; step-sister, Rosalie and Robert Chapman; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Harthun and DeWayne Collins

Connie is survived by three daughters, Susan (Tim) Wiese of Elbow Lake, Sara (Dave) Christian of Alexandria, Stacy Underhill of Dalton; son-in-law, Tim Underhill of Battle Lake; sister, Verna (Dick) Nelson of Fergus Falls; sister-in-law, Shirley Brandt of Fergus Falls; eight grandchildren, Taylor and Aaron Wiese, Jada (Tony) Polglase, Johanna (Dylan) Hvezda and Isabel Christian, Shaina, Paige and TJ Underhill; nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018, at the funeral home
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018, at the Olson Funeral Home Chapel, Fergus Falls
Clergy: Reverend John Juhl and Reverend Caleb Larson
Interment: Vang Cemetery, rural Fergus Falls
