Constance "Connie" Svenby

Constance “Connie” Yvonne Svenby, 85, of Fergus Falls, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at LB Broen Home in Fergus Falls.
Connie was born on May 20, 1935, in Rochester, MN to Vernon and Lorna (Osborn) Fuchs. She grew up in Kasson, MN where she was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church. She graduated from Kasson High School in 1953. She married the love of her life, Dean Svenby, of Owatonna, MN in 1954. While Dean was in the service, they traveled around the U.S. raising their three daughters. She worked for the telephone company for many years and after retirement, spent more time working in retail. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and being with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Vernon and Lorna Fuchs; brother, Garland Fuchs, and her eldest sister, Julie (Fuchs) Georgen.
Connie is survived by her husband, Dean of 65 years; three daughters, Julie (Craig) Buchheit, Peggy (Kerry) Davis, and Joanne (Jeff) Steiner. She is also survived by a brother, three sisters, ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
