Conrad “Dutz” Domholt, 92, of Fergus Falls, died Friday, August 7, 2015, at Lake Region Healthcare, surrounded by his family.
He was born March 26, 1923, in Wyndmere, ND, the son of Oscar and Signe (Lillestol) Domholt. He grew up in Fergus Falls and graduated from Fergus Falls High School, lettering in basketball and football. He served in the US Air Force during WW II.
On March 30, 1943, he married Julane Muriel Stein of Fergus Falls before being shipped overseas. They were married for 69 years and made their home in Fergus Falls, where they raised their family. He was employed at Suhr Ford and became part owner. He received many awards from Ford Motor Company for his excellence in sales.
Dutz was an avid golfer and walleye fisherman. He was a master at ping pong, no one could beat him, beating most others playing left handed. He enjoyed his “round table” friends at the Viking Café. Dutz loved all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with them and doing woodworking projects for them. He made many Christmas gifts for family. He was well known to be very generous, making over 100 dozen rosettes each Christmas season for different organizations. In later years, Dutz and Julane loved their winters in Arizona.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Julane; daughter, Sharon; parents, Oscar and Signe and brother and sister-in-law, Orvall and Ann Domholt.
Survivors include his children, David (Beverly) Domholt of Albany, OR, Connie (John) Wiese of Sauk Centre, Becky Domholt (Dean Meyer) of Sauk Centre, and James (Kathy) Domholt of Fergus Falls; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the church
Service: 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Augustana Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls

Interment: 11 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015, Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Fergus Falls with Military participation by Fergus Falls VFW Post 612 and American Legion Post 30
