Colette Jenne

Colette "Cak" Marie Jenne, 63, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, December 25, 2010. She was born February 15, 1947, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Calvin and Betty (Hultman) Holt. Growing up in Fergus Falls, she graduated from High School in 1965. She attended nursing school in September, 1966. Colette worked at the Fergus Falls State Hospital psychiatric ward for 33 years, and raised two daughters. She had a great love for animals and was an avid organizer and volunteer at the Humane Society. In addition, she was a home based tax preparer and notary public. Colette was a great woman with an adventuresome spirit, never afraid to try or learn something new. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, sewing, traveling, and continuously learning about computers. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and doggies. Preceding her in death were her parents. Celebrating her life and mourning her loss are her two daughters: Deborah (Bobby) Travis of Fredericksburg, VA and Cathy (Ed) Kill of Belle Plaine, MN; six grandchildren: Joshua, Amber, Kayla, Carley, Chelsey, and Colton; two sisters, Dodie (Kirk) Scott of Ottertail, MN, and Jenny (Dennis) Oberg of Wahpeton, ND; numerous nieces and nephews; and her doggies Abby, Harley, and Max.
