Clifford Coleman, 82, of Fergus Falls, died Monday, November 11, 2024 at Sanford on Broadway in Fargo.
Clifford Allen Coleman was born January 20, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Charles G. and Marion W. (Wright) Coleman. Cliff moved to Kalamazoo, MI where he enjoyed his youth. He attended school in Pillager, MN graduating in 1961. He joined the Army in 1962 and served till 1970, serving during the Vietnam war. He was stationed at Fort Sheridan in Chicago, IL.
Cliff worked for Simonet Funeral Home in Little Falls and Holiday Gas Station in Brainerd. He moved to Fergus Falls 1972, where he managed Sandy's later called Hardee's. He worked there until 1996. He later worked with Lakes Homes as a Direct Service Provider and the Daily Journal, retiring in 2016. Then he worked part-time at Park Gardens on the night shift.
He enjoyed his cycling, making several trips across the United States on his Honda Gold Wing, traveling to all of the lower 48 states.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles and Marion; his sister, Gladys Coleman, and brother, James Coleman.
Cliff is survived by friends, Marty Beckman, Jason Westrum, and Steve and Mary Sampson.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2024 at Olson Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service.
Clergy: Reverend David Strom
Military Participation: Fergus Falls VFW Post 612 and American Legion Post 30
Interment: First Lutheran North Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN
