Chuck was a long time resident of Fergus Falls. We all receive gifts-our talents, our skills, our unique perspectives, our personalities, our ability to care for and connect with others. Charles "Chuck" Neitzel was an admirable caretaker of the gifts he received. He did the very best that he could with what he was given. He fully used what he had to offer and gave freely to those he loved and those who came into contact with him. In the process, he impacted the hearts, minds, and perspectives of many. Chuck was a gentle man with deep blue eyes and an audible smile. He lit up when you entered the room and maintained the connection. He was a helpful man who liked to do tasks around the house; he was happiest when he was being productive, completing some work. Chuck was frequently found using his Hokey to clean the floor. He also enjoyed the accomplishment of completing various tasks at Productive Alternatives. Chuck liked to help and to do a good job. Chuck enjoyed movies, fishing, boating, football games, cars, tractors, and monster trucks. He enjoyed socializing and having company at his house and going out. He loved his trips to Camp in the summer. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Eddie and Irene Henjum and Henry and Olive Neitzel, and his aunt Arlene (Raymond) Henjum. Chuck is survived by his loving parents, Howard and Harriet (Henjum) Neitzel , Moorhead, MN; his siblings, Gwen (John) White, San Jose, CA, Sandee (Jon) Joppa , Plymouth, MN; his nieces, Kari and Kaela White, San Jose, CA; his nephews, Ben and Bryan Joppa, Plymouth, MN; his aunts and uncles, LaVille (Henjum) and Harvey Larson, Bozeman, MT, Arnold and Irene Henjum, Morris, MN, Maynard and Marion Henjum, Brooklyn Center, MN, Harvey and Marie Henjum, Apple Valley, MN, and Raymond Henjum, Winnipeg, Canada, and many cousins.
