He was born December 31, 1951, in Pasadena, California, the son of Orville and Norma (Hanson) Floberg. As a child his family returned to the Pelican Rapids area, where he attended school, graduating from Pelican Rapids High School. Bryon was drafted into the Army at the age of 18 and served two years in Viet Nam. After his service he received schooling to be an electrician. He completed his apprenticeship in 1977. He later became a master electrician and over the years he was employed by Hintgen-Karst and Fergus Electric. He then opened his own business, Floberg Electric. In 2000 he contracted with the state of Minnesota as an electrical inspector. In 2005 he returned to Floberg Electric until July of 2007, when he joined Vinco Electric of Fergus Falls. Bryon took pride in his electrical work and willingly helped family and friends in many project endeavors. On October 26, 2000, Bryon married Carla Boedigheimer-Cronk in Elbow Lake. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially at the many backyard BBQ's where he specialized in grilling steaks and crockpot surprises. Yearly vacations spent fishing and relaxing at the lake were enjoyed for several years. Bryon also looked forward to his yearly hunting trips with the boys to Bagley, and taking his dogs, Parker and Louie, out duck hunting in the fall. In his spare time he enjoyed watching the Vikings and Twins play, throwing darts, reading novels, especially Stephen King, and playing board games. He was well known for his ability to sing "Sweet Caroline" in Karaoke. Preceding him in death were his parents and grandparents.
