Brian D. Anderson

Brian David Anderson, 34, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Sanford Healthcare in Fargo, ND.

He was born March 16, 1980 in Fergus Falls, the son of Ronald W. and Mary A. (Petersen) Anderson. He grew up in Fergus Falls and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1998. He worked at Northern Contours from 1996-2000. Brian started working for Bimbos Bakery (Metz and Sara Lee) in 2000. He also enjoyed doing a paper route during his spare time.

On July 21, 2007 Brian was united in marriage to Amy Johnson at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Fergus Falls. Brian would enjoy going on many motorcycle runs often to raise money for charity. He was a member of the Rifle Club and was a member of the Union and Teamster local 289. He liked to go snowmobiling, fishing. Brian loved spending time with his family and friends and especially loved hanging out with his two sons, Jordan and Ethan.

Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Dale Petersen and Raymond Anderson; uncle, Dave Petersen; sister-in-law, Michelle Anderson.

Brian is survived by his wife, Amy, two sons, Jordan and Ethan Anderson, and unborn baby Anderson, all of Fergus Falls; parents, Ronald and Mary (Petersen) Anderson of Fergus Falls; sister, Kim (Tim) Klinger of Fergus Falls; brothers, Rick (Monica) Anderson of Detroit Lakes, Eric Anderson (special friend, Christina Wills); grandmothers, Joyce Anderson of Fergus Falls and Marguerite Petersen of Fergus Falls; mother-in-law, Donna Johnson of Fergus Falls; father-in-law, Dennis Johnson of Dalton; sisters-in-law, Wanda (Jim) Bergerud of Fergus Falls, Shirley (Errol) Ryckman of Elbow Lake, Jenny (Mark) Taylor of Fergus Falls; brother-in-law, Wesley Johnson (special friend, Renee Odens). Brian is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2014 with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Fergus Falls.
