Brett Eric Bergerson, 47, a resident of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, November 12, 2017, in Fargo, ND.
He was born July 8, 1970, in Montevideo, MN. Brett was adopted by Arvid and Arvalee (Fronning) Bergerson on October 5, 1970. He grew up in Moorhead, MN, and was baptized and confirmed at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. He attended school at Moorhead Senior High.
A few of his favorite jobs over the years included working at a ski resort in Sun Valley, Idaho, an office job in Atlanta, GA, and as lead ground crew at Northwest Airlines in Minneapolis, MN. Brett enjoyed traveling, and some of his favorite trips were with his dad to Hawaii and the Olympic games in both Calgary, Alberta and Salt Lake City, UT. Brett loved camping, snow skiing, jet skiing, and cooking. He had an artistic flair and loved to give unique and thoughtful gifts. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Arvalee (Fronning) Bergerson; sister, Kristen Bergerson; and grandparents, Florence and Clinton Bergerson, and Noble and Corrine Fronning.
Brett is survived by his father, Arvid Bergerson (Fergus Falls); sisters, Alyssa (Chad) Mittag of Minneapolis, MN, and Heidi (Jeremy) Seefeldt of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces and nephews, Lucy, Payton, Graham, Beckett, and Murphy; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home
Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, at the Olson Funeral Home Chapel in Fergus Falls, MN
Clergy: Pastor Matt Valan
Interment: Aastad Cemetery, rural Fergus Falls
