Bonita "Bonnie" Gaye Fosse

Bonita “Bonnie” Fosse, 71, a resident of Fargo, formerly of Rothsay, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.

Bonnie was born on December 31, 1944, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of James and Evelyn (Hawley) Martinson. Bonnie was baptized and confirmed at Hamar Lutheran Church in Rothsay. She attended school and graduated from Rothsay High School in 1963.

Bonnie married her high school sweetheart, Tom Fosse on April 2, 1965, in Rothsay. The couple lived in Moorhead, Fergus and Milan before returning to Rothsay where they raised their children, Brian and Teresa.

She was a member of Hamar Lutheran Church, New Life Lutheran Church and was involved in numerous community activities.

Bonnie loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends for any occasion and loved enjoying summer days at Lake Lida with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Evelyn Martinson; and her husband, Tom Fosse.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Brian (Angie) Fosse of Elk River; daughter, Teresa (Steve) Lewis of Horace, ND; grandchildren, Alyssa and Tara Lewis, Arthur, Edyn, and Thomas Fosse; and a brother, Richard (Sheila) Martinson of Fergus Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to New Life Lutheran Church in Rothsay.
