Beverly Kathryn Schulz Hanson, 73, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, September 06, 2007, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls. Bev was born on May 29, 1934 in Tordenskjold Township, the daughter of Arthur and Maybelle (Olson) Paulson. She was baptized and confirmed at Tordenskjold Lutheran Church and later graduated from Underwood High School. On August 21, 1965 she married Alfred Schulz. Alfred died on March 25, 1997. On January 31, 2004 she married Sidney Hanson. Through the years, Bev was active in many volunteer activities, including 4-H, scouting, P. T. A., and her church, where she enjoyed being part of Sunday school, Bible Studies and Woman's Fellowship. In her spare time she loved gardening flowers and vegetables, reading, spending time on the farm, traveling to visit family and loved to receive hugs from her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a cheerful lady, who always had something nice to say and also for her contagious laugh. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Alfred; 3 brothers, Maynard, Milo and Duane Paulson and one sister, Elaine Olson. Survivors include her husband, Sidney Hanson of Fergus Falls; children, Ginnie (Allan) Berge of Casselton, North Dakota, Michael (Tanya) Schulz of Marysville, Washington, Robert (Linda) Schulz of Lincoln Park, Michigan, Roger (Tommie) Schulz of Fort Gillem, GA, Joan (Jeff) Pankow of Tucson, Arizona and Fred (Cindy) Schulz of Tampa, FL; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Amy Paulson of Fergus Falls; sister-in-law, Helen Paulson of Battle Lake; sister, Mila (Melvin) Mortenson of Dalton, sister, Verly Anderson of Detroit Lakes; sister, Geraldine (Wayne) Rogholt of Henning; mother-in-law, Marycle Hanson of Fergus Falls and brother-in-law, Stan (Doris) Hanson of Fergus Falls.
