Beverly “Bev” Jean Brumley, 35, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, August 8, 2009 at her home. She was born January 11, 1974, in Fort Hood, Texas, the daughter of Steve and Deborah “Diane” (Godwin) Brumley and stepdad, Raymond Johnson. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1992. Following graduation, Bev worked at Prairie Community Services from 1992 – 2002. She then worked at Lakes Home from 2003 – 2005, and at the Tobacco Super Store until her illness in December of 2008. Bev enjoyed the computer, writing, and hanging out with family and friends and laughing. Preceding her in death were her sister, Sharon, her grandparents: Jane and Milton Johnson, Gervis Brumley, Edna and Willard Sissoms, and Orville Godwin, and three uncles, Ronnie Godwin, Bob Brumley, and Charles Johnson. Survivors include her boyfriend, Jason Paige of Fergus Falls; her children: McKenzie Marweg, and Justin Brumley, both of Fergus Falls; her parents, Steve and Diane Brumley of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Raymond Johnson of Fergus Falls; two sisters, Ramona (Robert) Bullen of Fergus Falls, and Christian Johnson of Wisconsin; and three brothers, Roger (Tessa) Brumley of Fergus Falls, and Tracey (Rachel) Johnson and Eric Johnson, all of Illinois; nieces and nephews: Liberty, Razija, Rayanna, Isabelle, Gage, Dominic, Darian, Ecko, Raymond, Daneille, Trevar, Jayce, Javonne, Berianna, Kalani, and Kalill; her grandmother, Jodie McKenzie of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. There will be a time to visit with family and friends one hour prior to the service at the Salvation Army. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009, at the Salvation Army in Fergus Falls.
