Barbara Jane (Lange) Goldenstein, 77, died November 12, 2018, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.

Barb was born May 13, 1941, in Fergus Falls to Herbert and Ruth (Goetzinger) Lange. She graduated from Clara City High School. Barbara earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Education with a minor in Spanish from Macalester College.

Barbara married her high school sweetheart, Robert Goldenstein, on June 15, 1963. The couple lived on a farm outside of Clara City. Barbara taught business at Willmar Vo-Tech, and high school business and Spanish in Clara City.

Upon retirement Bob and Barb moved to Ten Mile Lake. Barb liked to spend her time playing bridge, reading, singing, traveling, entertaining. She belonged to many organizations including PEO, church circle, church choir, bridge clubs, and Homemakers.

Barbara is survived by her husband Robert Goldenstein of Ten Mile Lake; daughter Gara Goldenstein of Rush City, MN; brother, Richard (Karla) Lange of Elk River, MN; niece, Beth Lange of Minneapolis, MN; cousins, Larry (Beth) Goetzinger of Plymouth, MN, Nancy (Bill) Henke of Detroit Lakes, MN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marcia (Russel) Onnen of Raymond.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Herbert and Ruth Lange; son, Gregg Goldenstein; nephew, Christopher Lange; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Delmer and Shirley Kruger.

Memorials preferred to LB Hospice or PioneerCare Foundation.
