Audrey Stach

Audrey Ann entered the world April 23, 1934 to Walt and Pearl (Bergan) Shol. The middle of seven children. A native of Fergus Falls, Audrey's family had a few different addresses. Finishing life in town above Walt's Café on the 100 block of Lincoln. Her family eventually put down roots in a small settlement, later named, Weetown. A move made easier because Audrey's grandparents lived right over the hill!

Love and marriage came to Audrey when she met Gus Stach. Their wedding took place August of 1952 and this bond would last 54 years. With their marriage, Audrey became a member of his large family of eleven siblings.

Always a loving and proud mother, the first of two children, Tracey, was born while her dad was serving in Korea. Kraig was born three years later, "almost in the taxi" Audrey would say. And as her family grew so did her love and pride! She created a place, for her grandchildren, where they felt cherished and would make many, many memories.

Along with being a homemaker, she had many interests through the years. She was a reader, a baker, a cake decorator. She loved her church, everything Christmas, and since '61: the MN Twins! Family history and genealogy. She remembered special events and people with notes, letters, cards and Facebook. And so much more......

Audrey passed from this life on December 6, 2024. Those left to carry on her memory - children, Tracey (Gary) Lee and Kraig (Denise Cameron) Stach; grandchildren, Paris (Scott) Turchin, Alex Lee, Zack (Amanda) Stach, Kris (Mya) Stach and Corey (Krystle) Stach; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Pat Gapen, Faye Baylor and Gene (Ruth) Shol; many cousins, niece, nephews, family in Norway and friends.

Waiting to greet her were husband, Gus; daughter-in-law, Pam Stach; parents; siblings and many more family members and friends.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Olson Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Fergus Falls, with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Clergy: Pastor Bill Helland

Interment: Stavanger Cemetery, rural Fergus Falls, MN at a later date
