Arlow Andrew Miller, 88, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls. He was born November 17, 1920, in Friberg Township of Otter Tail County, the son of Harry R. and Ida (Clambey) Miller. He grew up in the area and attended school at School District #193. He began his service in the U. S. Army Air Force during World War II after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, serving as an aircraft mechanic in India and Burma. In March of 1946 he married Mildred Rau in Fergus Falls. He owned and operated Miller’s Radio and TV Service in Fergus Falls from 1958 – 1985. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Fergus Falls for the past 62 years. Arlow loved hunting and fishing, gardening, and collecting old cars. Preceding him in death were his parents, and his brother, Wesley Miller. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mildred, of Fergus Falls; his son, Dana Miller of Minneapolis; a brother, Delain (Gloria) Miller of Fergus Falls; a brother-in-law, Arvid (Beryl) Rau of Fergus Falls; two sisters-in-law, Jane Miller of Fergus Falls, and Fern Rau of Elizabeth, and numerous nieces and nephews.
