Ardis Marian Fick

Ardis Marian Fick, 86, a resident of rural Fergus Falls, died Sunday, February 21, 2016, at the Pioneer Senior Cottages in Fergus Falls.

Ardis was born on November 13, 1929, in Henning to Helmer and Clara (Braaten) Gaustad. She graduated from Henning High School in 1947. On August 19, 1951, she was married to G. Stanley Fick in Henning and spent her married life as a homemaker and mother.

Ardis enjoyed baking cookies, sewing and participating in a bowling league.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helmer and Clara Gaustad; her husband, G. Stanley Fick; her son, Paul Stanley Fick; and her daughter, Susan Lynn Fick.

Ardis is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Bob) Marts of Wheaton, Janis (Bruce) Davis of Missoula, MT, and Kathy Mickelson of Missoula, MT; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Marts, Ryan Marts, Adam Davis, Tyler Davis, Jeremy Thomas, Carly Thomas, Andrew Fick, Douglas Fick, Katy Mickelson and Jenny Mickelson; her great-grandchildren, Laiken Marts, Ella Marts, Isabella Marts, Eric Fick, Tucker Fick and Sawyer Fick; her brother, Duane Gaustad of Breckenridge; her sister, Bernice Peyerl of Henning; and a brother-in-law, Eugene Fick of Underwood.
