April L. Zentgraf

March 28, 1956 — January 29, 2015

April Lynn Zentgraf, 58, of Fergus Falls, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center Fairview in Minneapolis after a courageous battle with leukemia.

April was born March 28, 1956, in Wheaton, MN, the daughter of Kenneth and Fay (Cardwell) Webster. She was baptized and confirmed at Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Wheaton, MN. She grew up and attended school in Wheaton, MN, until 1972, when the Webster family moved to Clinton, MN. April continued to be active in school and outdoor activities in Clinton, graduating in 1974.

April raised six children that she loved very deeply. Throughout this time, she worked outside of her home and spent many hours volunteering for various organizations and her church. April attended Alexandria Technical College for Computer and Voice Networking from 1995-1997. She was very active on the College and State Student Senate Council, was President of the Business Professionals of America, and won many state and national contests and awards. In 1997 she moved to Fergus Falls and was employed at Integrity Computer Systems, eventually becoming branch store manager in Breckenridge, MN. In 2006, April began working for Primerica Financial Services and Lutheran Social Services.

April reconnected with her first boyfriend, Timothy Zentgraf, and they were married on May 1, 2004. This was her childhood dream come true! Together they spent many hours fishing and enjoying the outdoors.

April was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church. She had a passion for plants and flowers, which was evident when visiting her home. Time spent with her precious grandchildren brought numerous smiles to her face throughout the years.

Preceding her in death were her father, Kenneth Webster; and her mother-in-law, Adeline Zentgraf.
