Anne Louise Muxfeldt, 81, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at her home at Park Garden Senior Living in Fergus Falls.
Anne was born on April 11, 1937 in Pisgah, IA, the daughter of John “Blondie” and Emily (McCracken) Hinkel. She was baptized at Logan Christian Church in Logan, IA on March 31, 1972. She attended and graduated from Pisgah High School. After graduating she moved to Logan, IA and was employed at the Harrison County ASCS office.
On September 1, 1961, she married Nile Muxfeldt. In 1974 the family moved to the Battle Lake, MN area and in 1983 moved to Fergus Falls. She was employed at the Fergus Falls Medical Group until her retirement in 2009.
She enjoyed fishing, walking, crocheting, crossword puzzles, bingo and attending her grandchildren’s activities.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Nile, who died in 2004; parents; sisters, Esther Chedester, Sharon Spears and niece Pam Siegner and sister-in-law, Sharon Muxfeldt.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy (Todd) Clermont of DeForest, WI; sons, Monte “Butch” (Jacqueline) Muxfeldt of Tucson, AZ, Craig (Pam) Muxfeldt of Fergus Falls; grandchildren, Amy (Ryan) Knuesel, Taylor Clermont, Jennifer Wing, Corey Muxfeldt, Emily (Dakota) Smith, Stephanie (Trevor) Sanvik, CJ Muxfeldt; great-grandson, Carson Smith and Baby Sanvik due in August 2018 and Baby Knuesel due in November 2018. Also surviving are brother-in-law, Gale Muxfeldt as well as nephews and many good friends.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Service: 11 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at Olson Funeral Home Chapel, Fergus Falls.
