Andrew Nicholas Taylor, 20, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was the light of his parents’ lives.
He was born on September 16, 1994, in Fergus Falls, the son of Mark Taylor and Ricki Moen. Andrew attended grade school in Fergus Falls and spent his high school years in Fergus Falls, Pierz and Underwood where he graduated in 2013.
Andrew went into the Army National Guard in November of 2012. Andy began his employment history as a merchandizer working with plants and then he worked in a bakery and also worked as a roofer. It was his training in the guard that helped him begin his last employment as a mechanic, which he truly loved. Whenever Andrew was able, he also loved working on family farms.
He enjoyed target shooting, boxing, wizard and magic games, making homemade salsa and making people laugh. He also loved wrestling with his brothers and spending time with family. Andrew was so proud to be in the military and loved being a part of it.
Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Phyllis Clark; cousin, Coral Goulet and his uncle, Brian Anderson.
Andrew is survived by his mom, Ricki Moen of Fergus Falls; dad, Mark Taylor of Fergus Falls; siblings, Kyle and Coby Laurent of Fergus Falls, Casey Taylor of Fargo, ND, Ashten Taylor of Fergus Falls, god father, Andy Taylor; grandparents, Richard and Rita Moen, Fred Taylor, Gwen Berg and Bert Clark; aunts and uncles, Mandi (Tony) Rossberg, Darbi (David) Gramp, Kari Sholing, Erick (Amber) Moen, Amber (Mike) Leuthardt, Jason Clark, Jade (Rick) Goulet. Andrew is also survived by his fiancé, the love of his life Whitney Osborne, they planned on being married in July. He also leaves behind his dog, Nanook; his ferret, Maverick and many other family members and friends.
Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aril 22, 2015, Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls.
