Amy M. Paulson, 67, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.  Amy was born on May 27, 1941 in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Arthur and Maybelle (Olson) Paulson. She grew up on the family farm in Tordenskjold Township and lived there until 1981, when she moved to Fergus Falls and received great care at the Regional Treatment Center. She was confirmed in 1983. In June of 1989 she joined the Lutheran Social Service family, receiving loving care until her death. Through the years she participated in Productive Alternative activities, enjoyed her aquarium, music, visiting with family and especially liked babies and children. She was also fond of the outdoors, swinging and walks. Structure and order were things she desired in her everyday life. She is preceded in death by her parents; five siblings, Elaine Olson, Maynard Paulson, Duane Paulson, Beverly Schulz and Milo Paulson. Survivors include her siblings, Mila (Melvin) Mortenson of Dalton; Verly Anderson of Detroit Lakes; Geraldine (Wayne) Rogholt of Henning; sister-in-law, Helen Paulson of Battle Lake; brother-in-law, Sid Hanson of Fergus Falls. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, as well as many care providers and family members from supportive living.  Visitation:    9 - 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
