Aloma Lee Martin, 80, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, July 17, 2022, surrounded by her children and grandchildren at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls.

Aloma Lee Walock was born July 17, 1942, to John and Irene (Gott) Walock in LaMoure, ND. She was baptized at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cheyenne, WY. She attended St. Charles Elementary School in Oakes, ND and Ellendale Public School in Ellendale, ND.

She married Delbert “Del” Martin, together they had eight children.

Aloma was employed at the Ottertail Nursing Home and Pioneer Home as a trained medical aid. She was also the manager of Stop’n’Go for several years until she retired. She was loved by many of her customers and always showed such kindness.

She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Fergus Falls. Aloma was very dedicated to her Catholic faith.

Aloma was an avid reader. She loved color by numbers, puzzles, and spending time with loved ones. She also enjoyed crocheting and donated many things to hospitals and Our Lady of Victory.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John “Ernie” and Irene Walock, and a grandson, Cody Lane.

Aloma is survived by her eight most cherished children, Henry (Vickie) Martin of Elizabeth, Shannon Martin of Fergus Falls, DelRae (Jeff) Hanson of Milnor, ND, Cameron (LaRae) Martin of Fergus Falls, Michelle (Jeff) Berge of Fergus Falls, Amber (Matt Propst) Martin of Ashby, Leonne (Steve Barnes) Martin of Fargo, and Austin Martin of Fergus Falls; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who she loved unconditionally; brothers, Jim (Jeannie) Walock of Hillman and Mike (Heather) Walock of Casper, WY; a niece and nephews, and countless friends.

Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2022, at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls.
Clergy: Father Alan Wielinski
Interment: Lakeside Cemetery, Milnor, ND
