Adeline Viola Rudh, 96, a resident of Rothsay, died Friday, May 4, 2018, at Lake Region Healthcare.
She was born on August 18, 1921, to Ole A. Sr. and Agnes R. (Snelling) Haga in Pelican Rapids, MN. Adeline obtained her GED in 1974.
On December 1, 1944, Adeline married Raymond Lester Rudh at Hamar Lutheran Church in Rothsay, MN.
Adeline was employed by the turkey plant in Pelican Rapids for 30 years. She also picked potatoes while working in the Baker-Downer-Barnesville area for 10 years, and cleaned homes in Rothsay and the surrounding area.
Adeline enjoyed whist, crosswords, watching game shows such as Wheel of Fortune and trivia, as well as writing down her thoughts on life and the memories of yesteryear, and enjoyed writing poems and stories. Adeline loved to garden, and she grew the best radishes. She made 1000’s of cookies which she would share with people in Rothsay. Adeline loved to spend time with her family
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ole and Agnes; her husband, Raymond (1985), sons, Thomas (1956), Leslie (1975) and Robert (2015); granddaughter, Angela (2012); nieces, Carol Haga and Avis Milhausen; nephews, Gary and Cameron Haga; brothers, Ole Haga Jr., Leonard Haga; and sister, Marian Kjono.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Beth) Rudh of Fergus Falls; grandchildren, Aaron Rudh of Fergus Falls, Matt Buckley of Bloomington; Heather (Jason) Bruns of Sebeka; 6 great-grandsons, Noah, Isaiah, Kalliou Hedstrom and Oscar, Emmett, Ived Bruns.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church.
Service: 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at New Life Lutheran Church, Rothsay, MN
Clergy: Reverend Randy Whitehead
Interment: Hamar Cemetery, Rothsay, MN
