Donna Mae Johnson

Donna Mae Johnson, 66, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls.

She was born October 24, 1949, in Dalton, the daughter of Morris and Selma (Brandvold) Bolstad. She grew up in rural Dalton and attended country school.

On December 28, 1968, she married Dennis Johnson in Evansville. She worked at Medallion Kitchens in Fergus Falls and then she worked at the Farmers Produce in Ashby for over 15 years. Donna enjoyed spending time fishing, mowing lawns and special time with her grandchildren and friends. She especially liked visiting with her sister, Virginia and listening to old time records.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Jason Johnson; sisters, Elaine Logan and Doris Danielson; brothers, Marvin Bolstad and Charles Aasberg; brother-in-law, Dean Phillips; son-in-law, Brian Anderson and a grandson, Andrew Taylor.

Survivors include her children, Wanda (James) Bergerud of Fergus Falls, Shirley (Errol) Ryckman of Elbow Lake, Jennifer Taylor of Fergus Falls, Amy (special friend, Zac Gilliam) Anderson of Fergus Falls and Wesley (special friend, Renae Odens) of Evansville; grandchildren, Kyle (Amy) Ryckman, Curtis (Angie Biedron) Ryckman, Tyler (Jenny Starling) Ryckman, Casey Taylor, Ashten Taylor, Dakota Comeau, Christian (Shalynn Wenger) Bergerud, Issac Bergerud, Jordan Anderson, Ethan Anderson, Gavin Anderson, unborn twin Gilliams, Lizzy Johnson, Katie Beatz, Angelique Gilliam, Alexander Gilliam; great-grandchildren, Riley Ryckman, Avery Bergerud, and unborn baby Allison; step great-grandchildren, Daidre Scott and Sophie Bergerud; step grandchildren, Carrie Odens, Rachel Bergerud, Erica Bergerud, Jesse Bergerud, Jayda Staring and Baylee Staring; sisters, Sylvia Phillips of Wendell and Virgina (fiancé, Billieio White) Johnson of Fergus Falls; sister-in-law, Mary Bolstad of Dalton; her former husband, Dennis Johnson of Dalton and dearest friends, Deane Williams (caretaker) and Jeremy Williams of Fergus Falls and Jeff Whipps of Dalton.
